AKH2A Full Bore Short Pattern Ball Valve

The AKH2A has been developed to incorporate a full ported bore into a short pattern body, offering space and cost savings. All wetted parts are PFA with PTFE seals to ensure long life in even the most corrosive processes. Although the size range is limted up to 6″NB only to suit ASME 150, the AKH2A has been widely adopted by our customers who can see the benefits of this valve. It has all of the features you’d expect from the worlds leading manufacturer of PFA lined valves, ie floating ball, adjustable stem packing, T slots to anchor the PFA moulding in place, cavity filled seats etc.

The floating ball offers low turning torques and low pressure positive bubble tight sealing. The seats, ball, stem and stem packing all easily replaceable on site allowing easy maintenance and overhaul.

The valve design is also availble with a PFA lined stainless steel body.
