FluoroCore Dip Legs
Dip legs and feed tubes are used to introduce liquids or process media into a column or vessel at the required point, helping direct flow accurately into the correct area of the process. Designed for demanding chemical and process environments, they provide a strong, lightweight and temperature-resistant alternative to traditional PTFE dip pipes where permeation or mechanical strength may be a concern.
- Accurate media introduction into the column or vessel.
- Reduced permeation risk compared with some PTFE options.
- Lightweight construction for easier handling, installation and maintenance.
- Available with application-specific design support, including stress calculations for agitated vessels where required.
These components are commonly used across chemical processing, fine chemical production, petrochemical plants, food and fertiliser manufacturing, and other corrosive process environments. Typical chemical applications include acid handling, distillation, absorption, stripping, scrubbing and liquid transfer duties where accurate feed introduction, chemical resistance and reliable operation are required.
Each component can be specified to suit the vessel layout, process conditions and installation requirements. Speak to our team to discuss the most suitable dip leg or feed tube design for your application.
