On Friday, we celebrated the completion of Abigail Simmons‘ dissertation project for her Manufacturing Technology Degree Apprenticeship and attended her poster presentation at the AMRC Training Centre.
For her dissertation, Abi investigated ways to improve the efficiency of our Electric PTFE Sintering Oven. Her research and recommendations have resulted in an estimated 27% annual saving, demonstrating how academic learning can translate into real business improvements.
Achievements like this highlight the talent, commitment and innovation within our team. Balancing a degree apprenticeship alongside a full-time role is no small feat, and Abi has done so while delivering a project that will make a lasting impact at CRP.
