Our Sustainability Goals

Carbon Emissions Timeline:

This timeline shows CRP’s grouped Scope 1 & 2 emissions alongside Scope 3 emissions from 2023–2025. Scope 1 covers direct emissions from activities we control, such as manufacturing processes, while Scope 2 includes emissions from the energy we purchase. Scope 3 represents all other indirect emissions in our value chain, including transport, employee travel, and waste. All figures are presented in tCO₂e (tonnes of CO₂ equivalent), the standard measure used to compare greenhouse gas impacts.

2023

2023

Scope1&2: 458 (tCO2e)  Scope 3: 1224* (tCO2e)       Switched most company vehicle fleet to EV

2024

2024

Scope1&2: 166 (tCO2e)  Scope 3: 599* (tCO2e)  Switched to 100% green electricity

2025

2025

Scope1&2: 154 (tCO2e)  Scope 3: 881* (tCO2e)  LED lighting upgrade,  Solar PV installation

*Why the fluctuation in results?  each year we refined our calculation approach, using broader data to deliver more accurate results.

EPD

CRP have developed two EN 15804 EPD Verification Scheme Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) published on the BRE GreenBookLive listings library covering 80% of our product range. These EPDs allow customers and designers to evaluate the carbon emissions created in our product life cycle and its associated supply chain measured in kg CO2e (kilograms of CO2 equivalent).  We take great pride in developing one of the first EPDs in the PTFE/PFA-lined piping industry sector.

The GWP (Global Warming Potential) impact for the A1-3 (total of production stage including raw material supply, transport to CRP, manufacturing at CRP) for:

1 unit of PFA injection moulded steel fittings (cast and stainless steel) with a weight of 1 kg = 7.2 kg CO2e

1 unit of PTFE lined pipes and fittings (cast and stainless steel) with a weight of 1 kg = 5.9 kg CO2e
