CRP Exhibiting at Electrostat-Ex 2013

Process and design engineers working with flammable materials, be it gas, liquid or powder should consider electrostatic discharge that if not properly prevented or controlled could lead to very dangerous and costly explosions. There is not a great deal of information on this topic so this is a well-received event.
The event is organised by the IOP (Institute of Physics) and coincides with the new IEC standard IEC/TS 60079-32-1: Explosive Atmospheres Part 32-1: Electrostatic hazards, Guidance.
There are several presentations throughout the day, in particular the 12:15 presentation on Controlling Static Electricity in Liquid Handling is of particular interest to our customers.
CRP are attending the event displaying our range of static dissipating piping products, bellows and valves.
Also on display we'll have our Spikie earthing washers, especially designed for control of static build up in piping systems with rotating flanges.
We hope to see you there.
